How to Install the ETS2 Sound Plugin (TS-FMOD)

This guide walks you through setting up the TS-FMOD sound plugin for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2). Follow these steps to get your truck engine sound mods working with FMOD support.

Step 1: Download the Plugin

Download the latest version of the TS-FMOD sound plugin from this link:

Step 2: Extract the Files

Use 7-Zip or any other archive software to extract the contents of the downloaded ZIP file.

If you don’t have 7-Zip, get it here: https://www.7-zip.org/

Step 3: Move the Files

Move all extracted files into your ETS2 installation folder under:

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64\plugins

Step 4: Open the ts-fmod-plugin

Select the engine sound name you want to use from the list.

Step 5: Edit `selected.bank` File

Inside the ts-fmod-plugin folder, open the file named selected.bank with a text editor.

Replace the contents with the exact sound name you picked in Step 4. Then save the file.

Step 6: Reload the Plugin In-Game

Launch ETS2 and open the developer console

(¬ key). Type the following command and hit Enter:

sdk reload

Your new sound mod should now be active in-game!
